Exchange Online (Office 365) Email Account Setup for Apple iOS Email App

Pace Students, Faculty, and Staff can set up their Exchange Online (Office 365) email account on their mobile Apple (iOS) device using the iOS email app.

  • Some steps and images below may be different for other iOS versions.

Note: If you have a previous Pace Exchange email account setup on your device, please follow the steps below to delete it before you complete the new setup steps.

Step-by-step guide

Setting up Exchange Online (Office 365) Email Account

  1. Launch Settings

  2. Click Mail and click Add Account... or Accounts

    Note

    If you're using an earlier iOS, go instead to Accounts and Passwords

  3. Click Add Account if listed

  4. Click Microsoft Exchange
  5. Type your Pace email address in the Email field
  6. Click Next
  7. Click Sign In on the pop-up window
  8. Type MyPace password in the password field and click Sign in

    Note

    If prompted to save password, select Never for This Website

  9. If prompted, click the Enter a Passcode button, which will enable the passcode field
  10. Retrieve 6-digit passcode generated from the Duo Mobile app or hardware token
  11. Enter the passcode and click Log In
  12. Select from the listed options (Mail, Calendar, Contacts, Remainders) the ones you would like to sync
  13. Click Save

    Note

    Your pace email account now will be listed in Accounts

Deleting Exchange Email Account

  1. Launch Settings

  2. Click Mail and click Accounts

    Note

    If you're using an earlier iOS, go instead to Accounts and Passwords

  3. Select the Pace Exchange Email Account listed

  4. Click Delete Account at the bottom

  5. Click Delete Account

    Note

    After successfully deleting the Pace email account, you will an option to Add Account
