Installing Cisco AnyConnect VPN for Mac

This page provides instructions on how to install and connect to the Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client for Mac.

The Cisco AnyConnect VPN client is a web-based VPN client that does not require user configuration. VPN, also known as IP tunneling or Virtual Private Network, is a secure method of accessing your Pace University computer resources.

Installing Cisco AnyConnect VPN on a Mac

Note

You will need to install the Java Runtime Environment before being able to successfully install the AnyConnect program. You can download this Java program at http://www.java.com.
  1. Open a browser and go to adam.pace.edu

    Note

    The Pace VPN download page is only available from off-campus.

  2. Select Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client
  3. Type your MyPace Username and Password and click Login
  4. Select from the Mac client
  5. Go to the location where you saved the VPN installation package (usually in your Downloads folder)
  6. Double-click on the AnyConnect.pkg file to start the Cisco AnyConnect Installer wizard
  7. Click Install and follow the prompts to complete the install



  8. When the software has finished installing, click Close
  9. The Cisco AnyConnect icon appears in the dock.
