Step-by-step guide

Email Signature

Add an email signature to all outgoing messages automatically.

  1. Click the gear icon at the top right of the screen
  2. Click Options
  3. Click settings
  4. Compose your email signature in the text box
  5. Check off Automatically include my signature on messages I send if you want the signature to appear on all outgoing emails
  6. Click save

Automatic Reply

Notify people with an automatic reply when you are out of the office. Each automatic reply is sent once to each sender.

  1. Click the gear icon at the top right of the screen
  2. Click Set automatic replies

  3. Select Send automatic replies
  4. If needed during a specific period of time, check off Send replies only during this time period: and select date duration and time
  5. Compose message for your automatic reply
  6. If you want a separate message for senders outside of Pace University,
    1. Check off Send automatic reply messages to senders outside my organization

    2. Select the target senders who will receive the message
    3. Compose message for your automatic reply
  7. Click save

Block or Safe Senders

The block and safe senders list allows you to manage a list to control unwanted emails or receive trusted ones.

Select from the list of topics:

Block Senders

The block senders list shows blocked email addresses and domains which will have those emails be directly sent to the Junk Email folder.

  1. Click the gear icon at the top right of the screen
  2. Click Options
  3. Click block or allow

  4. Select Automatically filter junk email
  5. Type email address or domain in the blocked senders and recipients field
  6. Click plus symbol and confirm it is listed below

Safe Senders

The safe senders list shows trusted email addresses and domains that always will be delivered and never sent to the Junk Email folder.

  1. Click the gear icon at the top right of the screen
  2. Click Options
  3. Click block or allow

  4. Select Automatically filter junk email
  5. Type email address or domain in the safe senders and recipients field
  6. Click plus symbol and confirm it is listed below
  7. If needed, check off Trust email from my contacts to have all your contacts treated as safe senders
  8. Click save

Open Department Mailbox

A departmental mailbox allows a group of users who have access to view and send emails using departmental account.

  1. Click down arrow next to your name at the top of the screen

  2. Select Open another maibox
  3. Type email address or name of the mailbox
  4. Click Open
